CM Punk claps back at a fan who criticized him.
The former AEW World Champion has been absent since the aftermath of AEW All Out 2022. Punk won the AEW World Championship at the show and suffered a torn triceps. He also made controversial remarks about Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks at the post-show press conference. Following a fight between the two sides, he was suspended and stripped of the title.
Despite his ongoing absence and his uncertain future, Punk remains a topic of conversation on social media. When one fan wrote, ” Keep CM Punk retired”, the former champion responded by saying , “you liked your own comment. Bold. I’ll wrestle again just to upset you. You’ll watch no matter where.”
The comment was in response to a post that highlighted Mark Henry saying he would bring Punk back to AEW if he was in charge of the company.
As of this writing, it’s not known whether Punk will return to AEW or wrestling. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
