Last November, Sarah Logan transformed herself into the “Viking” and “mystical” character of Valhalla, as described by her former tag team partner, Liv Morgan.
Following her initial release from WWE in 2020, Logan went on to become a mother. She later briefly reemerged in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match, before making a full-time return towards the close of 2022. Now, Logan stands under the name of Valhalla — a Norse name meaning “hall of the fallen.”
With Logan back on the road, and on SmackDown, Liv Morgan recently discussed her return during an appearance on Out of Character with Ryan Satin.
“She’s hella different now. Everything is different. I mean, presentation, just everything. The baby — everything is different, but it’s very cool,” Morgan said. “It feels like normal, it feels like nothing even happened, just having her back. It just feels like she never left.
Regarding Logan’s new persona as Valhalla, Morgan has nothing but praise for it. She noted that it’s “cool” to see Logan diving into something so different and thriving.
“It’s awesome, and it’s so her. It’s just so much knowledge about everything like Viking and mystical,” Morgan said, “I don’t even know the right word. It’s not woodsy. She has so much knowledge and it’s just cool to see her do something so different. It’s so cool to see her just dive into something that is so different and thrive in it. She looks great and it’s cool to see Cash (Logan’s son) every week [too].”
Valhalla looked on as the Viking Raiders defeated the Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) on the February 3 episode of WWE SmackDown. They brawled with Sheamus and Drew McIntyre after the bout, seemingly setting the stage for a match between the two teams.
