Kenny Omega is set to return to All Elite Wrestling.
The former AEW World Champion has been absent since the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he and the Young Bucks defeated Death Triangle to win the AEW World Trios Championship. A visa issue has reportedly prevented him from appearing on AEW TV.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Omega has been cleared, so he will return for the February 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. Meltzer noted that it’s unclear how Omega will be involved with the show, as he hasn’t been advertised for it yet. AEW has been teasing a trios match between The Elite and AR Fox & Top Flight, but Omega’s absence has apparently delayed the bout.
