Bryan Danielson will compete on the January 25 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As confirmed during the January 18 episode, Danielson will face Brian Cage. “The Machine” is one-third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions alongside Toa Liona and Kaun. Earlier in the show on Wednesday night, Danielson defeated former ROH World Champion Bandido in the latest step of his quest to earn a match with AEW World Champion MJF. In recent weeks, Danielson has also defeated Tony Nese and Konosuke Takeshita.
After the broadcast team announced Danielson’s match with Cage, the world champion approached “The Machine” backstage, handed him an envelope full of money, and told him to break his foe’s arm next week. He also slapped Cage in order to fire him up.
As of this writing, Danielson’s bout with Cage is the only match that has been announced for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
