Former NXT UK superstar Jinny has announced that she would be retiring from the world of professional wrestling, citing an injury she sustained in the past.
In a tweet sent out on Saturday, Jinny noted that after being away for some time to an undisclosed injury, she would be stepping away from wrestling. In the tweet, she thanked fans for the memories, and said that she is excited about what’s to come in the future.
Although still with WWE and under contract at NXT UK, Jinny hadn’t been inside of the ring for some time now, with her last matchg coming in November 2021, a win against fellow NXT UK star Amale. Throughout her career in the wrestling world, Jinny held a litany of championships, including the PROGRESS Women’s Championship, and the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
After a long time away due to an injury, I have made the decision to hang up my fashionable boots.
