WWE SmackDown viewership increased on December 23.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.376 million viewers tuned in on Friday. This number is up from last week, when 2.191 million viewers tuned in on Friday, and it is SmackDown’s highest number since September 23.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.55 rating, which is up from last week (0.52 rating in the same demographic).
Best Smackdown total viewership since Sep 23.
Best Rampage total viewership since Apr 8, best demo since Sep 23.
Despite both shows being opposed by live sports on ESPN.

On this week’s show, The Usos defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Hit Row, and Raquel Rodriguez won a gauntlet match to earn a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Plus, Bray Wyatt appeared and cut a promo.
