WWE SmackDown viewership decreased on December 16.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.191 million viewers tuned in on Friday, which is down from last week, when 2.306 million viewers watched the show.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.52, which also marks a drop from the previous week (0.57 in the same demographic last week).

Thurston also noted that SmackDown ranked #2 in the demographic on Friday; it fell behind the late NBA game on ESPN.
This week’s episode featured the return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Plus, Tegan Nox and Liv Morgan challenged Damage CRL (IYO SKY & Dakota Kai) for the WWE WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, and Gunther defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet.
