AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on December 14, which was headlined by an AEW World Title match between MJF and Ricky Starks.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 950,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the December 7 episode when 840,000 viewers tuned in. The demo rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.29 rating in the same demographic.

With the increase in viewership, Dynamite took the third spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, they were only defeated by ESPN’s coverage of NBA Basketball, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with match four in the best-of-seven series between The Death Triangle and The Elite. The Death Triangle once again utilized the hammer and now hold a commanding 3-1 lead over The Elite. The main event saw MJF cheat to defeat Ricky Starks to successfully retain his Dynamite Diamond Ring and the AEW World Championship.
