“The Tribal Chief” will return on the December 16 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In doing so, Roman Reigns will make his first appearance in the ring since he and The Bloodline were victorious in the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series. It’s unknown what he’ll say, but on the December 9 episode, Jey Uso teased that next week will be a “big night” for Sami Zayn due to Reigns’ presence.
Elsewhere, on the show, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and IYO SKY) will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox. Nox returned to WWE on the December 2 episode and aligned with Morgan. The duo defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler on Friday night.
Plus, Hit Row (Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis) will face the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) and Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro). Hit Row attacked the latter wo teams during a tag team match on the December 9 episode.

As previously announced, Gunther will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet, who earned the title shot by winning the SmackDown World Cup.
