Solo Sikoa‘s attack on Matt Riddle this week has had some dire consequences for Riddle, according to Michael Cole.
During the December 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cole updated fans that, following the attack Riddle suffered at the hands of Sikoa, the superstar would be out for about six weeks. According to Cole, the injury is some sort of trachea injury, and was suffered during Sikoa’s rampage against Riddle that saw Sikoa pin him into the turnbuckle with a chair bent into his neck before delivering a vicious running slam into Riddle’s neck.
It’s unclear just how badly Riddle is hurt, but the superstar will now need about a month and a half to heal, after which he will likely be ready to return just in time for some of the busiest times on WWE’s calendar.
