AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 11/23, Demo Rises As Well

AEW Dynamite viewership saw an increase on November 23, which was headlined by a Ring of Honor World Championship match between Chris Jericho and Tomohiro Ishii.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 880,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the November 16 episode when 818,000 viewers tuned in. The show scored a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is also up from last week‘s episode (0.28 rating in the same demographic)

With the increase in viewership, AEW Dynamite took the sixth spot in the demographic among cable originals overall Wednesday night. On cable, they were defeated by the FIFA World Cup and ESPN’s coverage of NBA and NCAA Basketball, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with a segment between William Regal, Jon Moxley, and Bryan Danielson, stemming from the fallout of the main event of AEW Full Gear. The main event saw Ring of Honor World Champion Chris Jericho successfully defend his championship against Tomohiro Ishii.
