Lady Frost has reportedly received her release from IMPACT Wrestling.
In August, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful previously reported that that IMPACT hadn’t granted Frost’s request for a release two months after she first made it. At the time, it didn’t seem like the would let her go, and because she wasn’t booked, she wasn’t getting paid on her per-appearance deal. Sapp stated that there weren’t plans for Frost on IMPACT programming, and she hadn’t been present at TV tapings. She had reportedly cited multiple issues with the promotion, including getting booked for a date when she was set to have surgery and being “left in the dark” regarding her status with the company while she was sidelined. Additionally, she reportedly noted that she wasn’t reimbursed for blood work or travel accommodations.
In an update, Sapp reported that Frost received her release in October prior to the latest set of television tapings. Multiple people reportedly pushed for the move, considering the circumstances, and she regularly followed up with President and CEO of Anthem Leonard Asper following her initial request. Frost has worked dates for CMLL in recent weeks, and she is now a free agent.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
