Will Ospreay wants to face Seth Rollins.
Ospreay and Rollins previously traded shots on Twitter in 2019; the exchange began when Rollins claimed that WWE has the best wrestling company in the world, and he called himself the best wrestler. Rollins went on to apologize for some of his remarks, though he stood by his claim about WWE.
Speaking with Tokyo Sports, the topic of dream matches came up in the conversation, and Ospreay stated that he has plenty of thoughts about a potential showdown with Rollins, the reigning WWE United States Champion. He noted that Rollins has approached him, too.
“I’ve mentioned Seth Rollins’ name many times, and he’s approached me, so I have a lot of thoughts about it,” Ospreay said.
Ospreay also stated that facing Ricochet again would be a dream come true; they previously had a memorable clash at NJPW Best Of The Super Junior XXIII.
“Also, considering my history, I think it would be a dream come true to fight Ricochet one more tim,” Ospreay said. “I think we’ve both become completely different wrestlers from when we fought in the past. I think we’re at a turning point right now, and in the past I’ve talked with people from WWE about how it would be great if we could have a dream match in the future that transcends the boundaries of the organization. I don’t think it’s impossible, and I always want to test my own true ability.”
