Report: Katsuyori Shibata Has Two Specific AEW Dream Matches

The latest reported update on AEW working with Katsuyori Shibata

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Katsuyori Shibata has requested to work with Orange Cassidy and Bryan Danielson in AEW.

Shibata, who was previously forced to retire due to injuries, will face off against Cassidy on the November 4 episode of AEW Rampage. Meanwhile, there is no specific date in mind for the Bryan Danielson match.

Shibata returned to the ring for his first match since being forced to retire in 2017 due to a subdural hematoma. He made his return at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16, defeating Ren Narita. and now, he sets his sights on Orange Cassidy’s gold.
