Mia Yim comments on her departure from IMPACT Wrestling.
Yim, a former TNA Knockouts Champion, returned to IMPACT at the Under Siege event in May. She was featured on IMPACT programming for the next few months; the veteran challenged Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship at IMPACT Emergence in August. At the Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 7, she lost to Mickie James, and her contract subsequently expired.
On October 12, Yim shared a message on her Instagram page; she thanked IMPACT, Scot D’Amore, and Mia Yim. She stated that the company reignited her passion and called working with everyone a true privilege. Yim also noted that her exit isn’t goodbye before she said she loves everyone.
