AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on September 28, which featured Chris Jericho defending the Ring of Honor World Championship against Bandido.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 990,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.34 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the September 21 episode when 1,039,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.35 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership and the non-stop coverage of Hurricane Ian, AEW Dynamite dropped to ninth place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. However, they defeated The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that continues to be their biggest rival from week to week, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Chris Jericho and The Jericho Appreciation Society celebrating his Ring of Honor World Championship win. There was a standoff between Daniel Garcia and Jericho which saw Bryan Danielson get involved as well. The main event of the show saw Chris Jericho defeat Bandido to retain the Ring of Honor World Championship.
