WWE RAW viewership saw a drop in viewership on September 5, which featured the surprise return of Braun Strowman.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, an average of 2.054 million viewers tuned in on Monday, which was the Labor Day holiday. This number is slightly down from last week, when 2.107 million viewers watched the show.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.58, which marks a slight drop from last week (0.59). RAW ranked #2 in the demographic among cable originals on Monday, as it was only behind The Bachelor and college football on ESPN.

The hourly breakdown, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:
- First hour: 2.088 million viewers, 0.60 in the 18 to 49 demographic
- Second hour: 2.120 million viewers, 0.60 in the 18 to 49 demographic
- Third hour: 1.954 million viewers, 0.54 in the 18 to 49 demographic
This week’s episode opened with Edge calling out Dominik Mysterio after he turned on him at Clash at the Castle, it was revealed that Dominik is the newest member of The Judgment Day. The main event of the show saw Bobby Lashley defeat The Miz inside a steel cage to retain his United States Championship. After the match, Dexter Lumis got his hands on Miz and choked him out to close the show.
