NXT crowned a unified champion at WWE NXT Worlds Collide.
In the main event, NXT Champion Bron Breakker faced Tyler Bate in a match for all the gold. Both men threw everything they had at each other. While Breakker overpowered Bate, he fought with the heart of a lion and showcased his own strength on a number of occasions. In the end, Breakker dropped Bate with a Spear to win the match and become the Unified NXT Champion.

Bate stands up into an airplane spin into a DVD. Breakker kicks out. Breakker sends Bate into the ropes. Bate bounces off the ropes and lands a lariat. Breakker kicks out. Bate sets up the Tyler Driver ’97 but Breakker turns it into a pin. Bate bridges out and hits a nasty Tyler Driver ’97. Breakker kicks out at 2.9. Bate goes up top. Breakker grabs him by the throat into a gorilla press powerslam. Bate gets his foot on the rope. Bate counters a spear with bop and bang. Bate tries another slingshot clothesline but Breakker cuts him in half with a spear. Breakker pins Bate.

Breakker won the NXT Championship for the second time on the April 4 episode of WWE RAW. Meanwhile, Bate officially won he NXT UK Championship on the September 1 episode of the show, but the match aired on tape delay. He had been carrying the title during his recent appearances on NXT 2.0.
