Fans were hoping for a Bray Wyatt appearance at WWE Clash at the Castle, but while that didn’t happen, a recent report from Fightful Select suggests another company might be in the running for Wyatt’s talents.
The latest report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) notes that, while Wyatt is more likely to return to WWE with Triple H at the helm of creative decisions than he was for Vince McMahon, there’s a ton of suitors out there for Wyatt. One suitor, in particular, the report notes, is a standing offer from a “startup wrestling company” that has apparently been vying for Bray to join them.
While the report didn’t specify what company this was, Fightful notes that it was “heavily implied” to them that it was Freddie Prinze Jr’s planned wrestling company. Earlier this year, Prinze revealed that he was planning on starting his own company, and according to the report, the actor — who used to work with WWE as a member of its creative staff — was also planning on using Karrion Kross heavily in his plans, but Kross returning to WWE halted any efforts on that end.
As of now, what Wyatt’s future holds is unknown. Fightful also reported that there is “some interest” in Wyatt from the folks over at All Elite Wrestling, but it’s unknown if talks ever happened, or if any specific offers were made to the superstar. As for any other companies, the report mentions that Wyatt has no interest in joining IMPACT Wrestling as of now.
Bray Wyatt has not wrestled since he lost (as The Fiend) to Randy Orton on night two of WrestleMania 37 in Tampa. Prior to that, his last match was also against Orton, a loss in a Firefly Inferno match at WWE: TLC in December 2020.
