While NXT Worlds Collide is scheduled to take place this Sunday afternoon, WWE already has planets for their next big premium live event.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, NXT’s next premium live event will take place on Sunday, October 22, and the event theme will be the return of Halloween Havoc.
The Halloween Havoc branding has been used by NXT in recent years as a television special, although it originated in WCW and was one of the company’s most popular pay-per-views every year from 1989 to 2000.
While no venue has been announced, you have to believe that Triple H and Shawn Michaels would like the NXT brand to return to the road sooner rather than later. If the brand isn’t touring soon, it will likely remain at the WWE Performance Center, where the company has been recording content for the brand for the last couple of years.
