AEW Rampage viewership decreased on August 26.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 431,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night which is down from last week ,when 461,000 viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 40 demographic, Rampage scored a 0.11 rating, which also marks a drop from last week (0.12 rating). Thurston also noted that Rampage ranked #22 in the demographic among cable originals on Friday night. He also stated that Friday’s episode tied with May 6 and July 29 as the lowest rating in the 18 to 49 demographic in Rampage history.
This Rampage essentially tied w/ May 6 and Jul 29 for the lowest P18-49 in the program’s 1-year history.
Smackdown was preempted in a few markets for the third consecutive week due to NFL preseason.

This week‘s episode featured an ROH World Championship Match where Claudio Castagnoli defended the title against Dustin Rhodes. Plus, the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament continued with a battle between the House of Black and the Dark Order. Elsewhere on the show, Ryan Nemeth challenged Wardlow for the TNT Championship.
