AEW Rampage viewership dropped on August 19.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 461,000 viewers watched the show on Friday. This number is down from last week, when 528,000 viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, Rampage scored a 0.12 rating, which also marks a drop from last week (0.17 rating). Thurston noted hat Rampage ranked fourteenth in the key demographic among cable originals and twenty-eighth overall.
Smackdown was preempted in markets incl Charlotte, New Orleans, San Diego, and St. Louis. About 5% of TV homes. Last week it was preempted in about 12%.
Rampage ranked #28 when including broadcast primetime and down from last week's 0.17.

This week’s episode featured two title matches. HOOK defended the FTW Championship against Zack Clayton, and Swerve in our Glory defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Private Party. In the main event, Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends faced The Trustbusters in a first-round bout in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament.
