The Young Bucks are no longer undisputed.
Adam Cole returned on the August 3 edition of AEW Dynamite alongside the Undisputed Elite to announce that he and Kyle O’Reilly are still not medically cleared to compete. With that being said, Cole informed The Young Bucks that they won’t be able to compete in the AEW Trios Tag Team Championship tournament because they physically won’t be able to. Those ominous words were followed by Bobby Fish executing an assault on Matt and Nick Jackson with O’Reilly minimally assisting.
To help break up the shocking attack, Hangman Page ran down to the ring to make the save for his former enemies.

The Bucks and Hangman used to be stablemates in The Elite, but they have been at odds for well over a year, especially since Matt and Nick aligned with Kenny Omega in 2021. Later that year at AEW Full Gear, The Young Bucks seemingly had a change of heart and indirectly supported Hangman during his AEW World Championship match against Omega. Matt Jackson has teased reuniting with Page on recent episodes of BTE, and this development on Dynamite brought the trio back together.
