Alundra Blayze appeared on the July 26 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, and she took the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship out of the trash.
Previously, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez won the titles together on the July 19 episode. The following week, Jade betrayed Perez during the latter’s match with NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, and she later throw her title in the trash.
On the July 26 edition of the show, Perez made the save when Jade attacked Zoey Stark. Later in the show, Perez stated that she couldn’t stand for the way disrespected the title. She said that the championships deserved to be shown respect, and she found someone who agrees. Blayze, a WWE Hall of Famer, then appeared on the screen. She and Perez pulled the title out of the trash, and the legend announced that a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Elimination Match will determine the new champions on next week’s show.
