A new title is coming to the National Wrestling Alliance.
Co-Managing Director of NWA USA Madusa announced on the July 26 “EmPowerr” edition of NWA Powerrr that the promotion will soon be introducing its first NWA Women’s TV Championship. No other details on the title or how the first champion will be crowned were provided as of this writing.
Allysin Kay was present for the announcement, and she stated that she feels like Billy Corgan created the title so she can win it. If she eventually wins the title, she will become the promotion’s first Triple Crown Champion in the women’s division.
PWInsider previously reported that the company had plans to introduce the title as “a vehicle to push” the former tag team champion.

The title will become the third women’s championship in the promotion; Kamille is the current NWA World Women’s Champion and Pretty Empowered’s Ella Envy and Kenzie Paige are the reigning World Women’s Tag Team Champions. It will mark the company’s eighth active championship.
The promotion recently announced that it is bringing back the NWA USA Tag Team Championship.
