WWE NXT 2.0 may be going head-to-head with AEW once again.
A new report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reveals WWE internally has the next NXT premium live event scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 4, the same day as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
The report states that a start time and event title are currently unknown. NXT’s next premium live event is expected to take place in Orlando, but it remains to be seen if it will emanate from the WWE Performance Center, which has been common during the 2.0 era.
Wrestlenomics also reports that NXT’s next special TV episode will be titled “Heatwave” and is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16. Details of that episode are expected to be revealed tonight.
