One of Thunder Rosa‘s next challengers for the AEW Women’s World Championship may not be a full member of the company’s roster.
On July 9, Miyu Yamashita faced the champion at TJPW Summer Sun Princess and defeated her. Prior to the contest, Rosa made it clear that she would give Yamashita a shot at the title if she won the match. In the end, Yamashita scored the win by countering an inside cradle.
With Yamashita winning, Rosa stuck to her deal, shaking hands with Yamashita and agreeing to a future AEW Women’s Title bout.
