Ezekiel‘s journey to WWE has been unconventional, as he skipped the NXT chapter of a WWE Superstar’s career and instead arrived directly on WWE RAW. Moving forward, he aims to remain on the main roster because it allows him to learn from facing some of the top talent in the world.
Speaking to KTALnews, when asked whether he would benefit from spending some time in NXT, “Zeke” made it clear that he’s growing as he goes on the main roster.
“I’m very blessed,” said Ezekiel. “I was able to skip the whole NXT process and get right to the main roster. I think I’m growing leaps and bounds, way more than I would anywhere else. And I’m getting to mix it up with the top talent in the world on Monday Night RAW every week, sometimes SmackDown, so that’s definitely where I wanna be.”
Elias’ younger brother also named a sibling showdown between the duo at WrestleMania and a clash with Shawn Michaels as two dream matches.
“There’s a couple,” said Elias. “One, I’d love to go one on one with my brother. I think that would just be a dream match. Me and him at WrestleMania in front of the world, that would be incredible. On top of that, though, I gotta say Shawn Michaels was always my favorite wrestler, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’, so that is a dream match for sure.”
