Shotzi recently deleted her Twitter account, but she still wanted to let people know that she’s doing OK.
On Monday, Shotzi responded to criticism over the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match and said that her haters could “suck her big, giant hairy mangos”. Following her performance in the high-risk ladder match, some fans were quick to critique one spot in particular. The green-haired Superstar attempted to pull Alexa Bliss off a ladder, which lead to both competitors awkwardly colliding with the ladder and each other. Shotzi later confirmed via Twitter that “nobody got hurt,” but that she “had to have a few friends wipe the tears off my face” in the aftermath until reminding herself who she was.
These comments drew attention from the professional wrestling universe, before the Smackdown Superstar later deactivated her Twitter account.
In an update posted on her Instagram Stories, Shotzi stated the following:
“I appreciate everyone checking on me but I swear I’m fine. I have been going through the toughest year of my personal life so it’s deeper than nasty comments, but also twitter has not helped with my already fragile mind state. Just trying to stay motivated and positive. I am focused on my goals and not what’s on the internet.”
Shotzi last competed in WWE Money in the Bank this past Saturday. RAW Superstar Liv Morgan would ultimately climb to victory, and captured the prized briefcase. Later, Morgan would cash in to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. Shotzi also remains a part of the Smackdown brand, now with a new champion atop the division.
