Several members of the All Elite Wrestling roster are dealing with a variety of injuries that are keeping them out of action.
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, a handful of new superstars have joined a group of superstars that are already dealing with injuries, including Lee Johnson and Matt Hardy. The report notes that Lee Johnson — who hasn’t wrestled since early Mary — is likely out for the remainder of the summer following a knee injury that he sustained. The report cites sources who say that Johnson likely won’t be wrestling for at least the next few months.
As for Hardy, he reportedly came away from his AAA TripleMania match where he teamed up with “Johnny Hardy” (Jeff Hennigan, aka Johnny Morrison) banged up, as he had swelling in his knee. However, it’s unclear if the injury will require Hardy to miss any time. In addition to those two, an update on Bryan Danielson — who has been out of action since his match at Double or Nothing — still has not be cleared to wrestle as of last week, and will seemingly have to continue healing up and rehabbing before he’s ready to come back.
Finally, Darius Martin — who was in what was reported as a severe crash in April earlier this year — is reportedly looking at the end of the year as a tentative return date, at least according to Fightful’s source. However, it’s unclear if that is a firm date or just something the company and Martin are hoping to hit.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
