Eddie Kingston isn’t a fan of Bryan Danielson as a person.
The two AEW stars recently worked together during the Blackpool Combat Club’s feud with the Jericho Appreciation Society, but the tension between the duo cost them the Anarchy in the Arena Match at AEW Double or Nothing. Away from AEW programming, Danielson recently called Kingston a piece of garbage, and “The Mad King” has fired back.
In an interview with Joe Roderick, Kingston noted that he has known “The American Dragon” for a long time, and while he’s a great wrestler, he’s a “judgmental prick.”
“I’ve known [Bryan Danielson] longer than Mox,” said Kingston. “I’ve known Bryan, and Bryan’s been a piece of s— since I met him. I’m not gonna lie to you guys and be like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re best buds.’ No, Bryan, in my opinion, should be on a lot of Mount Rushmores for wrestling. You can go independents, you can now, you can go if you’re talking about technical wrestlers, you know what I mean, all this stuff. Bryan’s in the GOAT discussion, with anybody.
“But I’m not a mark. I’m not a fan. If I think you’re a bad person or for Bryan, I think he’s a judgmental prick. He judges people, so I don’t like Bryan. There it is.”
