On the May 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Sting was one of the Undisputed Elite’s target in a post-match beatdown. Kyle O’Reilly smashed his ankle to conclude the show. It’s currently unclear whether Sting’s injury is legitimate or a part of a storyline.
Sting, 63, has won all nine of his matches since he returned to the ring at AEW Revolution 2021. Most recently, he teamed up with Darby Allin and The Hardys to defeat Private Party, The Butcher, and The Blade on the March 23 episode of AEW Dynamite.
WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
