Bobby Lashley faced Omos in a WrestleMania rematch at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.
“The All Mighty” battled “The Nigerian Giant” at “The Showcase of the Immortals” and defeated him. The next night, Lashley’s manager, MVP betrayed him and aligned with Omos. Since then, MVP has determined to prove that his new client is the future, and Omos has left Lashley lying multiple times.
On Sunday, the giant overpowered the former WWE Champion and controlled the opening minutes. Lashley rallied and drilled Omos with some shoulder strikes. He then trapped Omos’ arms in the ropes and fired away with some punches. MVP distracted Lashley, and the former WWE Champion briefly put him in the Hurt Lock before Omos saved his manager. “The All Mighty” maintained the advantage and went for the Hurt Lock on the giant, but Omos powered his way out of it.
Lashley floored the big man with a spinebuster. But MVP swayed the momentum in his client’s corner by blasting Lashley with his cane. Omos then slammed Lashley for the win.
