AEW Dynamite delivered an action-packed show on April 20, but All Elite Wrestling also has big plans for this week’s episode of AEW Rampage.
As confirmed during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the April 22 episode of AEW Rampage will feature Adam Cole and NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii going toe-to-toe in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. Cole announced the bout on Wednesday after he shared the news about the AEW/NJPW supershow in June.
Elsewhere in the night, Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will be interviewed, while Tony Schiavone will take to the ring and speak with the wrestlers who have qualified for The Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. Plus, Lance Archer will face Serpentico.
As previously announced, Eddie Kingston will face Daniel Garcia, and their respective factions will be banned from ringside. Finally, a big TBS Championship will take place, as Jade Cargill will defend her title and her winning streak against Marina Shafir.
