Gauntlet Match To Determine New NXT Tag Team Champions Set For 4/12 WWE NXT 2.0

Five teams will battle it out for the vacant NXT Tag Team Championships on the April 11 episode of WWE NXT 2.0.

WWE has announced that Legado del Fantasma, The Creed Brothers, Pretty Deadly, Grayson Waller & Sanga, and Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen will compete for the gold. The titles were vacated after WWE released Nash Carter of MSK. Carter and Wes Lee won the titles at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2.

After being relinquished, the last team standing will be crowned the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

On Tuesday, five of NXT 2.0’s top tag teams, including Grayson Waller & Sanga, Legado del Fantasma, The Creed Brothers, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Pretty Deadly, will collide in a Gauntlet Match to determine the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

Carter was released amid allegations of abuse and the resurfacing of a photo in which he imitated Hitler became public. More information is available here.

  • Gauntlet Match for the New NXT Tag Team Championships: Grayson Waller & Sanga vs. Legado del Fantasma vs. The Creed Brothers vs. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen vs. Pretty Deadly
  • NXT Women’s Championship: Mandy Rose (c) vs. Dakota Kai
  • NXT North American Championship: Cameron Grimes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa
