Ronda Rousey says there’s no truth to her leaving the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony early because she was mad about not main eventing WrestleMania.
On Saturday night, word spread on social media about Ronda Rousey allegedly walking out at the WWE Hall Of Fame because she was “furious” about not main eventing WrestleMania 38. The report over Rousey’s alleged issue with the main event spot can be sourced to F4WOnline.com’s Bryan Alvarez, who reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rousey left the Hall Of Fame ceremony early after she found out she wasn’t going on last at night one of WrestleMania.
Rousey has spoken out against those claims and said they simply aren’t true. Not only did Rousey feel honored to watch “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Kevin Owens go on last, but she says she left the Hall Of Fame early because she had to go and care for her infant daughter.
“I don’t know where these “reports” come from but it was an absolute honor to perform under Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in Texas-I wasn’t a hall of fame because I have a six month old baby I had to put to sleep early,” Rousey wrote. “People are literally creating drama out of thin air.”
Ronda Rousey versus Charlotte Flair was the penultimate match at night one of WrestleMania 38, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s no holds barred match with Kevin Owens ended up closing the show.
