AEW Dynamite saw a slight drop in overall viewership but wins the key demo overall for cable originals.
According to Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, the March 9 episode ofAEW Dynamite on Wednesday drew 945,000 viewers. This number is down from the 966,000 viewers the show drew last week. Despite this, AEW Dynamite ranked number one overall in total viewership on the night of March 9 for cable originals. Including broadcast primetime, it ranked #7.
The March 9 episode of AEW Dynamite was highlighted by Jeff Hardy’s debut, saving Matt Hardy from the former AHFO. Other matches on the show included the Scorpio Sky winning the TNT Title from Sammy Guevera. Paige VanZant is also officially All Elite.
