Gail Kim has always made her voice heard.
Former seven-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion and backstage producer in the company Gail recently appeared on Oral Sessions With Renee Paquette and spoke about why she shares her voice, but also noted that other factors are taken into consideration.
“I guess ’cause a lot of people don’t feel like they can be vocal, and my personality is very feisty. It is, I know, but I will say with age I am becoming a little more grounded. I reel it back in a little bit. There are moments, but when you push me, then you’re going to see Gail come out and ‘grrrr’,” she explained.
“It’s funny because I’ll get a lot from people I personally know and maybe just fans, they’ll say ‘I love that feisty side. I love that. Please speak up and keep on doing that.’ Of course, you can’t please everyone and we’re in that world of cancel culture, and you gotta be a little more careful,” Kim elaborated, “I’d say I take that into consideration a lot more now. My husband, of course, has a lot of big companies he works with too, and I take that into consideration. I’m now ‘office’ with IMPACT, so I gotta take that into consideration.”
