In a match that featured Rollins, Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio, and Kevin Owens, all four Superstars went at it from the very start. Things quickly fell apart for the likes of Mysterio, he was tossed around a bit during the opening scrum before he rallied and showcased some of his classic high-flying offense.
Later on in the bout, with all four men on the ground and catching their breath, Rollins slid out of the ring and grabbed a ladder, but Balor cut him off and threw him hard into the security barricade. The action returned to the ring, where Owens pulled down Mysterio from the ladder before he dropped him with a Stunner. He then put Mysterio through a table with a pop-up powerbomb.

With Mysterio down and out, Owens attempted to climb the ladder, but Rollins slid back into the ring and pulled him down, eventually dropping him outside of the ring and through the ladder wedged between the ring and announce desk. Rollins ultimately floored Balor with a Stomp before he climbed to the top of the ladder and unhooked a contract that will give him a shot at the WWE Championship.
After a brief staredown with Big E, Rollins spoke in an interview backstage; he vowed to win the title and remind everyone why it’s “Monday Night Rollins.”
