In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and The Usos
Reigns tells Knoxville to acknowledge him. The crowd boos. Reigns tells Wiseman (Heyman) to show the WWE Universe how to properly acknowledge their Tribal Chief. Heyman goes on a diatribe about how great Reigns is and how he fears no man, no beast, and no demon. They all fear Roman Reigns. Big E inturupts. Big E runs around the arena celebrating before entering the ring. Reigns and Big E raise their titles in each other’s faces. Finn Bálor’s music hits. Bálor walks down to the ring.
Big E and Finn Bálor vs. The Usos
Bálor rolls through a sunset flip and hits a dropkick. Bálor tags in Big E. Big E drags Jey Uso out to the apron and lands a big splash. Both Usos trap Big E in the corner. Jimmy and Jey pound on Big E in the corner. Jimmy and Jey take turns working over Big E. Big E manages to tag in Bálor. Bálor clears the ring. Jey pulls Bálor out of the ring. Jimmy lands a dive. After the break, Bálor manages to catch Jey with an overhead kick. Bálor tags in Big E. Big E clears the ring. Big E sets up a spear but Jey catches him with a knee. Jey lands a superkick. Big E kicks out. Bálor hits the Coup de Gras while Big E hits the Big Ending for the win.
Winners- Big E and Finn Bálor
Backstage, Reigns isn’t pleased. Reigns asks Heyman if there is something he needs to tell him. Heyman says there is nothing. Heyman says he knows what Reigns is getting at but he didn’t know Brock Lesnar was going to be at SummerSlam. Heyman says he saw fear in Lesnar’s eyes. Reigns asks if Lesnar would show up at Extreme Rules. Heyman says no. Reigns says he pays Heyman to know in advance.
