Damian Priest And Drew McIntyre Beat Bobby Lashley And Sheamus In Hard-Fought Bout

After defeating Goldberg and putting his son, Gage in The Hurt Lock at WWE SummerSlam, Bobby Lashley returned to the ring during tonight’s episode of WWE RAW to brag about this successful outing. But Damian Priest, another star who recorded a big win at SummerSlam, ruined his celebration.

First, Lashley and MVP stated that they had no remorse for what happened to Goldberg’s son because there was no way for “The Almighty” to know that Gage would be there. After calling Goldberg, his son, and the crowd in San Diego cowards, MVP was interrupted by none other than Priest, the newly crowned WWE United States Champion.

Priest came down and quickly flipped the script on MVP and Lashley, saying that they were actually the cowards due to their actions at SummerSlam. He then challenged Lashley to a match, and after a brief brawl, the two men met in a singles bout. This contest promptly ended in a disqualification after Sheamus hit the ring and assaulted Priest. But Drew McIntyre came running down for the save, setting up a tag team match between the four superstars.

During the match, things initially looked bad for the duo of Priest and McIntyre, but the match turned into a competitive battle. Once Lashley abandoned his teammate, McIntyre and Lashley took firm control. With Sheamus left alone,  McIntyre blasted “The Celtic Warrior”  with a Claymore for the victory.

Later in the night, Sheamus confronted Lashley backstage and made it clear that he was frustrated with the champion for walking out on him.
