Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre were banged up coming out of Survivor Series
According to a new report from F4WOnline.com (via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter), both Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre are out of action due to suffering injuries at Survivor Series. It was noted that both ended up with ruptured eardrums in their respective matches at the premium live event, and both should return to the ring soon.
Reigns is currently not listed for any of WWE’s post-Christmas live events, but McIntyre is expected to return for them. It was said that McIntyre worked through the injury until December 4, but didn’t realize the severity of the injury until he was examined after that event. McIntyre shared that he was medically disqualified the following day, but did not give a reason for the change.
Drew McIntyre was originally advertised for the December 9 episode of WWE SmackDown but ended up getting pulled from the lineup. Butch will now take McIntyre’s place and team with Sheamus against The Usos in a tag team title match.
