AEW Dynamite remains the top show on cable on Wednesday night.
For the fourth week in a row, Dynamite led all cable shows on Wednesday night. Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reports that on August 4, 1.102 viewers watched the special “Homecoming” episode, relatively no change 1.108 million who watched the show last week.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, the show scored a 0.46 rating, a small increase from last week‘s 0.45. This number is a yearly high for the demographic rating.
Brandon Thurston also noted the following:
“This episode of Dynamite was more highly viewed among male viewers 35 to 49 than WWE Smackdown on Friday. M35-49 is a demographic Dynamite has often beat WWE programs in lately. In that group, Dynamite was viewed by 300,000 viewers to Smackdown’s 279,000.”
AEW Dynamite last night on TNT was watched by 1,102,000 viewers on average. 593,000 viewers were aged 18-49 (about a 0.46 rating).
Total viewers slightly down from last week (-1%) but 4th consecutive week of 18-49 growth.
