This week’s AEW Dynamite scored a major win for AEW.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that AEW Dynamite drew 1.148 million viewers on July 21 for the last night of Fyter Fest. This number is up from last week’s 1.025 million viewers. This is the third-highest-rated show ever, it narrowly beat the AEW’s second show on TNT on Oct. 9, 2019. The show scored a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is up from 0.40 last week. This number is also tied for the best demographic rating of the year for AEW Dynamite.

Year Low — June 4: 462,000 viewers
Current Week — July 21: 1,148,000 million viewers
The show was headlined by Jon Moxley defending the IWGP United States Championship against Lance Archer in a Texas Deathmatch. Also, Chavo Guerrero debuted representing Andrade, Britt Baker defending the AEW Women’s Championship against Nyla Rose, and Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Spears.
