Wrestling fans haven’t seen John Cena in many moons, but they’re going to get a double dose of him this week on television. Cena made a surprise return at WWE Money In The Bank to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns and he could confront Bobby Lashley as well considering an announcement was made early Monday that he’ll be on the 7/19 edition of RAW. Now it’s been revealed that he’ll also be showing up on Friday Night Smackdown this week as well. The WWE on FOX Twitter account released a video promoting the return of Cena to the blue brand which you can watch below:

Cena did state to fans in a post-Money In The Bank promo that this wouldn’t be the only times fans see him. With John being in the mix for both the RAW and Smackdown brands creates some intrigue and build at to what the star may do for SummerSlam. It was reported by Fightful today that Cena is still considered a “free agent” in the WWE Universe so him having fluidity to move from Monday to Friday is on brand for the Fast & Furious 9 star.
