Goldberg is set to make his WWE return this week and it will all lead to a major match at SummerSlam.
According to a report by Fightful Select, Goldberg is set to appear on this Monday’s episode of WWE RAW in Dallas. It was explained that current plans see him challenging WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam, and Monday’s return would set that bout up.
This week’s episode of RAW in Dallas is the first RAW taping on the road since the COVID-19 pandemic started, and it looks like it shaping up to be a big one.
Goldberg’s last match in WWE was a loss to Drew McIntyre at the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He previously confirmed that he was under contract with WWE for two more years and committed to two matches per year under the agreement, meaning we’re at least due for one more in-ring appearance by “Da Man” in 2021.
