If you were confused by Nikki Cross’ new gimmick, look no further than Cross’ husband NXT star Killian Dain for an explanation.
The former two-time WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champion debuted a new superhero-like gimmick during last night’s edition of Monday Night RAW.
The new look for Cross confused many fans but Cross’ real-life husband Killian Dain explained that she actually came up with the change herself and shared some of the concept art that was created for the new character.

Nicki herself commented on the change, explaining how she’s been waiting to showcase the new look for awhile.

Cross teamed with Alexa Bliss and successfully qualified for next month’s women’s Money In The Bank match by defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax during last night’s episode of RAW.
