Ever-Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel) has become a recurring act on WWE NXT and the company’s social media platforms, and the duo isn’t going anywhere for a while.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select initially reported the news, and it is now available on Fightful’s main website:
Ever Rise, the team of Chase Parker and Matt Martel recently signed new WWE contracts, we’ve learned. When the two began appearing more on NXT television, Fightful inquired about their status and if anything had changed, and were told that WWE had offered them new WWE contracts months ago.
We’ve heard from the WWE side that they wanted to get Ever Rise’s contracts to “match up” in length, but we’re not sure if that actually ended up happening. The WWE side of things have told us that Ever Rise did agree on the new deals, but a timetable of when they were agreed upon, nor the length were revealed.
Parker and Martel have frequently competed on both WWE 205 and NXT, and they have been involved with non-wrestling segments on NXT in recent months. They even have their own digital-exclusive talk show, “Ever-Rise Live.”
The duo hasn’t wrestled since April 30, when they had a match on WWE 205 Live. Ever Rise will return to the ring on NXT next week when they face Hit Row Records.
"Hit Row, the next time you come to someone's door knocking for a taste, you better be ready for someone to answer."
