Pure Rules Match: Josh “The Goods” Woods vs. Silas Young
In a pre-match promo, Young reminds Woods that he beat him last time around. He says nobody can touch his intelligence in the ring. Woods, on the other hand, explains that Young had to cheat to beat him last time they clashed, but now he’ll prove that he’s the superior wrestler.
Woods and Young feel each other out with technical holds. “The Tactical Beast” overpowers Young, but “The Last Real Man’ targets Woods’ arm to neutralize that strength. The former partners exchange counters, and Woods easily rolls Young around. The bout is evenly matched, and the two men reset. Young lures Woods in for a handshake and punches him behind the referee’s back twice.

Woods fires back with a punch of his own. The referee sees this one, and he gets a warning for it. Woods grounds Young and stomps on his shoulder. He counters a body-scissors and wrenches Young’s ankle in it to break the hold. Young takes control and keeps Woods grounded. Woods rallies with a twisting superplex. The rivals trade strikes, and Woods tries to choke Young out. Young puts his feet on the ropes, but the referee doesn’t count his pin attempt.
Young floors Woods with a DDT on the apron. He nails his former partner with a knee to the face and plants him with the Anarchist suplex. Woods hits a running suplex into the corner, and both mean are down. Woods traps Young in the Beast Lock, and Young has to tap out because he’s out of rope breaks.
