“Hangman” Adam Page’s rivalry with Team Taz reached a new level at AEW Double or Nothing. Page faced Brian Cage to kick off the show in a battle between two of AEW’s top stars.
Cage assured Page that he’d leave Team Taz in the back so they could have a fair match. Once the bell rang, Page sought to capitalize, as he brought the fight to “The Machine.” But Cage overpowered AEW’s resident cowboy and slammed him into the ring post.

A strong Irish whip then sent Page crashing into the turnbuckle. “The Machine” then flexed by pressing Page up and down. Page persevered and took Cage down with a moonsault to the outside.

A hurricanrana off the top rope gave Page even more momentum. But Cage squashed that forward movement with a suplex onto the ramp. The two men continued to exchange blows, and Ricky Starks and Hook came to ringside. Cage tried to dismiss the help of Team Taz at ringside, and the distraction helped Page clinch the victory.
After the match, Cage confronted Team Taz and walked out on them.
